Reviews for Heaven by Templetree

Soothing A very beautiful opening allowing the guitar to speak and then lie down behind a soothing voice. Definantly an inspiring track that opens the listeners mind to what can and will be done with music. The song brings talent to mind from the 70s and such yet holds uniqueness from the artist. Again an inspiration that has open this mind to inspire to reach similar levels of musical talent. Reviewed by Zack Simon Beginner on Mar 31 United States, West Virginia, Williamson

Heaven Templetree Pleasing guitar picking abounds on this recording followed by haunting vocals much akin to many of the singer songwriters of the 1970's era. A style which never grows old and always finds an audience to listen. Storytelling to music has been around for a long time and as evidenced by this artist will continue to be around for a long time. I went to the site and listened to all the other recordings before deciding to add a comment about this song. I found a very versatile artist with a wide influence of music. I prefer the Acoustic songs and wish you lots of success with them for your career. Tom Wiggins and da boys in da band. Saint Gabriel's Celestial Brass Band. In this season of trees Heaven I found the start intriguing with the stringed acoustic instruments and wondered where it was taking me, then to see it as under a first heaven sky with weather, and a gentle wind blowing through early spring trees, When you started singing it was another step up lovely whispy voice, however 3/4 into the song I got lost by the lyrics and the song fell off poetry into a chant is a bit of an art and to a degree you painted it. I wonder if another instrument (woodwind) or might have stepped the song up another notch to keep the interest. Overall what a good alternative song, thanks for posting. Templetree Very nice guitar playing. Vocals remind me of Joanie Mitchel a bit. Really love the acoustic guitar and the uptempo. Lyrics are very nice as well. Heaven Hello Templetree! What a nice song! I like the harmony at the beginning. The guitar is well played. If I have a criticism to the track, I would advise you to put less effects on the guitar because you loose the bass and the high frequencies. On my point of view, this kind of effect are good combinate with other instruments. But for the rest, your voice, your song, the ambiance made my day! Thanks! I will listen to your page! Really amazing! I really like this song, the beginning of this song is so nice and mellow it immediately captures my attention. I was thinking this was all instrumental then your lovely voice came flowing into my ears. I like your lyrics very intriguing. The lyrics are vivid and tantalizing to the imagination. I didn't want the song to end as it is one of those types of tunes that are like a breeze that feels really nice in the middle of the night. You did really well with this song! Reviews for The Fire by Templetree

A Fire that glows with heart and passion.. The Fire burns hot enough, keeping an amber glow that slowly builds intensity hypnotic and very surreal sounding. The beat is subtle and changes to give the song a good feel, I like the high hat groove towards the end. The droning of the instruments and bending notes grabs your senses. I liked the tone of the keyboard also there was enough space in the composition to give it a chance to breath. The vocals are seductive in tone and melody, makes one listen to the lyrics intensively. The Fire.... in your soul makes it .... burn brightly. Great idea and good job bringing your heart to the world. Reviewed by Mike Harty Advanced on Mar 31 United States, California, Glendale

Hi I like this song A lot. Nice storyline, chord changes, Melody and some instrumental hooks Within. I think the lead break is maybe a bit too long but more importantly the intro is certainly too long before the vocals start. As you are most likely aware of in the music industry A&R makes their decisions to pass or accept within 20 seconds I don't think the vocals start within that time frame. And they don't accept the song based on the intro unless it's something like Satisfaction or Honky Tonk Women by the Stones. For a life performance no problem. I think it's worth repeating that in the music industry music industry players never really listened to the entire song they base their past or accept within 20 seconds. I hope you find this helpful and wishing you the very best with the song Reviewed by lakel six PRO on May 03 United States, California, Los Angeles

yes Raving Heart review. this song is a strictly Alternative piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in Alternative style as I said everything recalls the Alternative genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in Alternative piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job Reviewed by Phoenix2kx PRO on Aug 20 Italy, italy

Awesome esome You did a phenomenal, fantastic, extravagant job on this piece of music. Your song is a piece of art and I am confident that if you continue this type of work with the right amount of passion then you will go far in this business. If you don't mind my saying, I think you should reach out to some graphic designers, photographers, producers, editors, collaborators, labels and anything and everything else that has to do with the business because you have the talent to go far. Curious but so nice. Sade (the artist) makes a trip to the World Music world. A smooth voice, some percussions, tribal laments and a throbbing pace make an interesting song that becomes seductive and finally addictive. That vocal game makes its little effect. Good job. Raving Heart - by Templetree oh man..... you need this song in your playlist for road-trips or chill-time !!!! do you like Sphongle, Massive Attack, Orbital or Steven Wilson ???? THIS is just as trippy and ambient, and then some....! the starting notes let you know this is going to be a laidback trippy song journey.... with swirling vocals starting the "trip" in earnest, the tabla style percussion giving immediate sway to the listeners body..... when the groove finally kicks in, its a pleasing lo-fi gaze style, four/four shuffle..... you are instantly provoked into a head-bobbing meditation.... the vocalist keeps the song in the realm of hallucinogenic bliss, strengthening and rhythmically embellishing the structure of the song throughout.... my bet is you will totally enjoy this song, and it will beckon you to return to your Raving Heart, again and again...... smooth This song was a nice change from most of the tracks I have been reviewing on here. I hadn't gotten to something that was this smooth. There is a mellow sort of vibey that continues throughout, but one might miss a lot if getting too complacent with their listening. The track has continuous sound design elements that seem to sweep throughout the track, creating a nice sense of journey from the start to the finish. Great example of something that is not overly complex musically, but keeps things ever changing due to tasteful sonic movement. Great job. Exceptional sounding recording The song impressed me deeply much. The unusual introduction begins with gentle rhythmic sounds of a darbuka. Harmonically melodies inspired by modular syntheziser effects creating a great space in the backround. Also the versatile bass-lines in the chorus are very special. The singer beginns with her unique and fantastic arabic voice projection but the whole composition is more various. Soft melancholical electronical based themes underlaid by bass guitar characterises this smooth composition. Great arranged chorus line with influenced by patterns of Maqam intervals brings exceptionally beauty into the song is a extra factor. Sounds really mediative together and creates a great space in the backround. The romantic passion of the lyrics comes from the heart and makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. Mixing and mastering is brilliant in appropriation of different music styles. Professionell orchestrated electronical melodies in the backround carries the recording. This is definitely a extraordinary song and complex arrangement. I like the psychedelic sound of the music. Overall a good work from Templetree. She managed an exceptional sounding recording. It´s a original and I´m sure you will likewise add it. Let others know your recommedation. Reviewed by KAIJY PRO on Mar 26 Germany, Hamburg

Concievable high I like this song alot..it's got a great groove and it cruises along nicely,..the singer sounds alot like SADE but singing a more rock groove than her stuff but thats whats good about it. In fact i think you should push the vocals up more above the band, out in front because there were some double trac vocals that were buried in the mix some backround vocals that need to come a bit but other than that ,nicely done and look forward to hearing more...oh and i like the name of the band as well....M1 Reviewed by minus one on D.C.JAM RECORDS Beginner on Mar 24 United States, California, Oakland
